Sumedang,
Menjelang diperingatinya Hari Guru Nasional 2023, yang mengusung tema “Guru Pembelajar Bahagia Mengajar”. MTsS Persis Sumedang lakukan kegiatan literasi menulis kepada para peserta didiknya.
Hal tersebut dilaksanakan dalam memenuhi Surat Edaran Sekretaris Jendral Kementrian Agama No. 28/2023, tentang Upacara Bendera Peringatan Hari Guru Nasional Tahun 2023.
Dimana diimbaukan kepada seluruh jajaran Kementrian Agama dan salah satunya kepada Satuan Pendidikan Keagamaan, untuk menyelenggarakan kegiatan dalam rangka memperingati dan memeriahkan Hari Guru Nasional Tahun 2023, secara kreatif serta mendorong pelibatan partisipasi publik, dengan muatan kegiatan yang mendorong semangat para guru dan memberikan apresiasi kepada guru, karena telah berjasa membersamai anak-anak Indonesia dalam menemukan minat, bakat dan potensi terbaiknya.
Untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut dalam membersamai para peserta didiknya, Mahdi salah satu guru yang mengajar pelajaran IPS, memberikan muatan literasi. Seperti dikatakannya,
“Saya ajarkan mereka berliterasi untuk mengenal arti kehidupan.”
Dalam teknis pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut, para siswa dari kelas 8 yang berjumlah 72 orang dibagi menjadi 12 kelompok dengan melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran di luar kelas secara berkelompok dengan melakukan wawancara kepada semua guru sesuai dengan mata pelajaran yang diampunya.
“Materi pokok yaitu mengenai Pluralitas Masyarakat Indonesia, dengan sub materi Perbedaan Pekerjaan. Dalam hal ini, perbedaan pekerjaan para guru mengajar pelajaran yang diampunya.”jelas Mahdi
Beberapa hal yang dilakukan siswa dalam mengeksplor literasi terhadap guru-gurunya seperti, mulai dari nama lengkap, tempat dan tanggal lahir, alamat lengkap, pendidikan dan kehidupan lainnya.
Salah satu siswa dari kelas 8B Syifa Aulia, menyebutkan bahwa kelompoknya mendapat kesempatan untuk mewawancarai secara eksklusif langsung kepada guru IPSnya. Seperti dikatakannya,
“Pak Mahdi itu lahir di Jakarta, 8 April 1965 yang beralamat di Dusun Batu Karut RT01 RW06 Desa Cibeureum Wetan Kecamatan Cimalaka Kabupaten Sumedang.”
Lalu dikatakannya pula, bahwa pendidikan Pak Mahdi itu,
“Di SDN Kebon Kosong Jakarta Pusat dari tahun 1975-1977, kemudian di SDN Pakuwon 1 Sumedang pada tahun 1977-1980, kemudian dari tahun 1981-1984 belajar di SMPN 3 Sumedang, Belajar di SMAN 1 Sumedang sejak tahun 1984-1987. Mengecap pendidikan di PT di Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta tahun 2004-2005, kemudian di STAI Muhammadiyah Bandung pada tahun 2005-2028.”
“Guruku Ajarkan Literasi Arti Kehidupan dan orangnya multi talent”singkat Syifa Aulia
“Dia mengajar sejak 1989 sampai sekarang sebagai guru honorer, tapi dedikasinya tinggi”tambahnya
Diimbuhkan Syifa,
‘Pak Mahdi pernah mengajar beberapa pelajaran selama dalam pengabdiannya sebagai seorang pendidik, diantaranya guru Biologi, Fisika, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggeris, PSPB, PMP, Ketrampilan, Seni Musik dan IPS.”
“Selain sebagai guru di MTsS Persis Sumedang, Pak Mahdi mengajar di MDTA Nurul Iman Batu Karut dari tahun 2010-sekarang. Dan sebagai Ketua Rumah Pintar Al-Barokah Een Sukaesih (Guru Qolbu, Guru Inspiratif). Juga Guru Ngaji di Mesjid Al-Barokah dan Penyuluh Agama Islam pada Kantor Kementrian Agama Kabupaten Sumedang di KUA, Cimalaka”ujar Syifa
Lebih jauh dari hasil eksplor bersama kelompoknya, dikatakan Syifa, bahwa Pak Mahdi selain sebagai guru aktif di masyarakat, seperti
“Wakil Ketua PC Persis Cimalaka, Ketua ICMI Orsat Cimalaka, Anggota BPD Desa Cibeureum Wetan, Anggota FKDT dan Anggota FKPAI”
Berkaitan dengan prestasi, dikatakan Syifa bahwa ada beberapa prestasi yang pernah diraih Pak Mahdi diantaranya,
“Mengikuti lomba menulis atau mengarang tingkat SD sekecamatan Sumedang Selatan pada tahun 1978 sebagai juara 3, lomba menulis jurnalistik pada Hari Pers Nasional tahun 1991 tingkat Kabupaten Sumedang juara ke-3, Nominator Guru Inspiratif Jawa Barat tahun 2016, Pemenang Lomba Cipta Puisi tingkat Nasional dalam Peringatan Hari Kemerdekaan dan Hari Guru Nasional tahun 2021 dan Sepuluh Besar tingkat Nasional sebagai Guru Pelopor Moderasi Beragama yang diselenggarakan oleh Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme (BNPT),”
