Meningkatkan Indeks Literasi, SMP Negeri 2 Tanjungsari Mengadakan Workshop bersama Smartfren Community

Sekitar   seratus lima puluh para pelajar SMP sangat antusias mengikuti sebuah workshop Teman Pintar dari Smartfren Community Sumedang  dengan tema ‘Peran Media Digital dalam mengembangkan literasi” bukan saja pelajar SMP bahkan pesertanya ada dari warga belajar kesetaraan Asabiq asuhan Ibu Neneng Suminarwati yang sama tertariknya dengan kegiatan ini sehingga warga belajarnyapun diikutsertakan dalam kegiatan ini.

Untuk  meningkatkan indeks literasi para pelajar di SMP Negeri 2 Tanjungsari Sudrajat, S.Pd.,M.M.Pd menyambut baik program Teman pintar dari Smartfren community apalagi tema yang diajukan sangat pas dengan keadaan sekarang, para siswa seringkali menggunakan media digital namun tidak sesuai dengan kemanfaatannya bahkan dalam berselancar di media digitalpun banyak yang hanya bisa mengakses saja tanpa diserta kecakapan digital.

Acara ini dibuka langsung oleh Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Sumedang Dr. Dian Sukmara,M.Pd sekaligus memberikan materi tentang pentingnya memaknai  literasi dalam kehidupan terutama di era digital. Terkait dengan dunia pendidikan Kepala Dinas Pendidikan juga mengencarkan program “ Cantik perkasa”  Media digital sekarang sebagai alat utama untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi namun tidak jarang media digitalpun menjadi sebuah permasalahan bagi para pelajar kalau tidak bijak dan tepat dalam penggunaannya seperti kasus kenakalan remaja dengan aksi tawuran itu adalah sebab dari media sosial, masalah  perundungan atau Bullying pada pelajar, ujaran kebencian dan mudahnya penyebaran informasi hoax.

Kadisdik berharap pembelajaran secara digital tetap mengharapkan adanya karakter-karakter sebagai pelajar yang santun dan beretika  tetap melekat sesuai dengan dari visi misi Cantik perkasa yang secara akronim yaitu Cerdas, Nyunda Eksotik prestasinya dengan , berbasis kasih sayangnya dan kadisdik mengacungkan jempol untuk SMP Negeri 2 Tanjungsari karena sudah melakukan hal ini.

Sudrajat juga merasa bangga karena sekolahnya memperlihatkan meningkatnya indek literasi dengan terus menggerakan enam literasi dasar di sekolahnya. Sebagai wujud nyata keberhasilan tersebut beberapa buku antologi sudah diterbitkannya hasil dari karya siswa-siswinya lalu hadirnya Taman Bacaan di sekolah dengan  hasil kreasi para pelajar, serta sering menjadi juara dalam event seni dan budaya. SMP Negeri 2 Tanjungsari lingkungannya sangat asri dengan ditanami tanaman produktif juga  bebas dari  sampah karena anak-anak wajib membawa tempat minum dan tempat makan sendiri seperti yang di programkan yaitu “BAPICA” Bawa piring dan cangkir sendiri, sampah yang adapun sekolah ini sudah mempunyai alat olah sampah sendiri dan pupuk untuk tanaman yang ada disekolahpun hasil dari sampah yang sudah diolah dan ini semua berkat keberhasilan gerakan literasi begitu ujar kepala sekolah SMP Negeri 2 Tanjungsari.
