Tahun ajaran baru sekolah sudah tiba, banyak sekali peran dan hal yang dipersiapkan untuk menyambut tahun ajaran baru. Terutama orang tua yang baru pertama kali akan menyekolahkan anaknya di TK ataupun SD, mereka ingin menyaksikan tumbuh kembang buah hatinya, peran guru yang sudah menyiapkan segudang ilmu untuk ditransfer ke anak didiknya, dan peran anak sebagai pelajar yang ingin bahagia saat bersekolah. Keberhasilan adalah hal yang diinginkan oleh semua pihak yang terlibat dalam dunia pendidikan. Seorang anak yang ingin menunjukan dirinya pintar lewat prestasinya, orang tua yang selalu punya keinginan anaknya menjadi juara dengan segudang prestasi, dan keberhasilan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar yang didambakan semua guru.
Untuk mencapai suatu keberhasilan tentu banyak tantangan dan rintangan yang harus dilalui, disinilah peran guru yang paling utama. Prestasi belajar merupakan tolak ukur yang utama untuk mengetahui keberhasilan dalam suatu proses pembelajaran. Siswa yang prestasinya tinggi dapat dikatakan bahwa ia telah berhasil dalam belajar. Lantas seperti apa pembelajaran yang harus dipersiapkan guru untuk semua anak didik dengan latar belakang, potensi, kecerdasan yang tentunya berbeda.
Kecerdasan anak bukan sekadar kemampuan pandai membaca dan mengolah angka atau berhitung, orang tua tidak dapat hanya mengandalkan nilai rapor untuk mengetahui kecerdasan anak. Ketika anak tidak menunjukkan kemampuan mengagumkan dalam pelajaran berhitung, misalnya, bisa jadi dia memiliki kecerdasan lebih tinggi di aspek lain. Intinya, jangan sampai makna kecerdasan menjadi terbatas. Sebab pada kenyataannya, dalam diri anak bisa sangat banyak potensi yang bisa dikembangkan.

Untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan bahasa anak, dapat dilakukan dengan mengajaknya bernyanyi, sering mengajak anak mengobrol, dan sering bermain kata.
Kedua Kecerdasan logika matematika meliputi kemampuan berpikir logis, memahami sebab akibat, suka teka-teki, serta ketertarikan terhadap angka. untuk merangsang kecerdasan tipe ini, kita dapat mengenalkan konsep angka dan berhitung sedini mungkin, mengajak anak melakukan permainan strategi, serta melakukan percobaan ilmiah sederhana.
Ketiga kecerdasan visual dan spasial. Kecerdasan tipe ini meliputi kemampuan mengenali objek dan bentuk, pola, posisi, mudah membaca peta dan denah, serta mampu berpikir secara kreatif. Anak yang memiliki kecerdasan ini mudah untuk mengingat gambar, wajah seseorang, gerakan yang dilihat, pola, maupun tekstur. Cara mengembangkan kecerdasan visual dan spasial pada anak adalah dengan mengajaknya menggambar, membuat karya, membangun dari balok, menyusun puzzle, mengajarkan arah serta berbagai bentuk motif.
Keempat Kecerdasan kinestetik meliputi kemampuan koordinasi gerak tubuh yang baik dan sangat menikmati kegiatan fisik. Anak yang memiliki kecerdasan ini senang melakukan berbagai aktivitas fisik, misalnya saja olahraga, berlari, menari, bermain sepeda. Mereka jarang menyukai aktivitas yang hanya duduk diam.Untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan majemuk kinestetik, kita bisa mengajak si Kecil melakukan berbagai aktivitas fisik seperti berlari, menari, berlatih keseimbangan tubuh, dan menirukan berbagai gerakan tubuh seperti pantomim.
Kelima kecerdasan musikal. Kecerdasan ini meliputi kepekaan tinggi terhadap nada, cepat menghafal irama dan lagu, dan senang bernyanyi. Kecerdasan musikal dapat diasah dengan cara mengajari anak bermain alat musik dan mengajak bernyanyi.
Keenam Kecerdasan interpersonal adalah kemampuan berhubungan baik dengan orang lain, memahami perasaan orang lain, dan menikmati keberadaan di tengah-tengah kelompok. Kecerdasan interpersonal berhubungan dengan keterampilan sosial atau interaksi dengan orang lain.Cara mengembangkan kecerdasan majemuk ini adalah dengan mengajak anak beraktivitas bersama orang-orang baru, mendorongnya untuk berinteraksi dengan orang lain, serta mengikutsertakan anak dalam bakti sosial.
Ketujuh Kecerdasan intrapersonal merupakan kemampuan mengenali diri sendiri, mengekspresikan perasaan, percaya diri, dan mampu menyatakan apa yang disukai dan tidak disukai. Dengan memiliki kecerdasan ini, anak dapat mengetahui potensi, punya tujuan dan mampu mengendalikan keinginannya.Untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan majemuk ini, kita dapat melatih si Kecil untuk tekun dan bertanggung jawab atas tugasnya, serta mempercayakannya terhadap tugas-tugas tertentu.
Kedelapan Kecerdasan naturalis ini meliputi ketertarikan mempelajari alam serta memiliki kepekaan terhadap lingkungan, hewan, tumbuhan, dan luar angkasa. Anak yang memiliki kecerdasan naturalis yang menonjol akan tertarik untuk memahami semua jenis makhluk hidup yang dilihat.Untuk mengasah rasa penasarannya dan mengembangkan kecerdasan naturalis si Kecil, anak bisa mengajaknya untuk memelihara tumbuhan atau hewan, berwisata di alam, dan memaparkan ilmu seputar alam.
