Nyaman Membaca bersama TBM Nyamaca

Seperti telur yang baru saja menetas, TBM Nyamaca di Desa Sukawening Kecamatan Ganeas umurnya masih terbilang muda. Berawal dari dikenalkannya Komunitas Nyaman Sukawening (KNS) dengan Rumah Karakter Bintang Ceria (RKBC) pada tahun 2019 lalu. RKBC memiliki program baca buku gratis untuk umum, membuat kami merasa tertarik untuk mencoba menjelajahi dunia literasi. Apalagi mengingat minat baca di desa kami sangat kurang. Sedangkan beberapa dari pengurus dan anggota KNS sudah ada yang gemar membaca. Hal itu mendorong kami untuk membuat semacam tempat untuk para pembaca dan calon peminat baca.

            KNS sendiri adalah komunitas yang dibentuk sebagai wadah atau tempat anak-anak desa, khususnya di dusun Gorowong untuk bisa berkarya, mengembangkan bakat, bersosialisasi, dan mempererat tali silaturahmi juga solidaritas. Kami juga berharap dengan adanya komunitas ini, anak-anak bisa berkegiatan kreatif dan positif.

Kembali kepada minat kami untuk membentuk taman bacaan masyarakat. Saat itu, kami masih bingung untuk memulainya dan memang masih belum mengerti langkah apa yang harus dilakukan. Seiring berjalannya waktu, impian membangun TBM yang bahkan sudah terkubur selama kurang lebih tiga tahun akhirnya mendapatkan titik terang. Pada akhir September tahun 2022, Bapak Enjang Herawan (Sekretaris Forum TBM Kabupaten Sumedang) menawari buku kepada ketua KNS. Seakan mendapatkan ilham sekaligus rezeki nomplok, kami terima donasi buku dari Bapak Enjang sebagai modal awal pembentukan program baru dalam bidang literasi ini. Sebelumnya, KNS juga sudah diberikan kesempatan untuk bergabung ke dalam Forum TBM Kabupaten Sumedang seakan dengan begitu semangat kami semakin menjadi. Kami pun mulai percaya diri dan berani mengambil langkah awal.

Pada akhirnya, selain kegiatan dalam bidang kesenian. Pada hari Minggu, 2 Oktober 2022, Komunitas Nyaman Sukawening resmi memiliki program baru dalam bidang literasi yang kami beri nama Nyamaca, Nyaman Membaca. Seusai namanya, tujuan berdirinya Nyamaca mudah-mudahan bisa mengajak anak-anak bahkan warga masyarakat Desa Sukawening bisa terbiasa membaca buku sehingga merasakan kenyamanan ketika masuk ke dalam dunia buku.

Seperti Komunitas Nyaman Sukawening, TBM Nyamaca juga dipimpin oleh Arini Seiawati, S.E bersama tim yang diantaranya Fera Novia, Iis Sofiyah, Novi Nurhayati, Putriyani Hamballah, dan Rifanty Nabilah. Lokasinya sendiri berada di Dusun Gorowong Desa Sukawening Kecamatan Ganeas Kabupaten Sumedang.

Untuk kegiatannya sendiri, dikarenakan masih terbilang baru seumur jagung dan baru memiliki koleksi buku sebanyak 106 judul, kami belum memiliki banyak kegiatan. Kami mencoba mengawalinya dengan ajakan kepada anggota KNS untuk menyukai membaca. Caranya yaitu dengan mengajak anak-anak untuk menyimpan gawainya dan mengajak mereka untuk mulai membaca satu buku. Dengan begitu, kami harap mereka akan suka dan terbiasa untuk membaca. Tanggapan dari anak-anak beragam, ada yang mulai suka membaca, merasa ngantuk tetapi terus membaca, memberitahu bahwa ia menyukai buku yang bergambar, dan juga ada yang bertanya apakah boleh membaca sambil memakan camilan.

Selain itu, kami juga pernah membuka lapak baca gratis di Pasar Ahad yang berada di Dusun Gorowong Desa Sukawening. Diluar dugaan, ternyata banyak juga anak-anak dari dusun lainnya yang berminat untuk membaca. Walaupun awal-awalnya mereka terlihat malu-malu untuk mendekati lapak baca kami.

Selain mengajak membaca secara langsung, pada puncak acara milangkala Kecamatan Ganeas ke-22 pada tanggal 14 Januari 2022, kami mendapatkan kesempatan untuk menyerukan ajakan minat baca yang kami kemas dengan penampilan kabaret dengan judul Buka Bukumu.

Itulah kegiatan yang baru kami jalani. Hanya berfokus kepada membaca. Kami berharap untuk beberapa program yang kami rencakanan pada tahun ini semoga berjalan dengan lancar dan menyenangkan. Selain itu juga, semoga TBM Nyamaca ini mendapatkan sarana dan prasarana serta donasi buku agar lebih nyaman dan seru, sehingga dengan begitu akan lebih menarik perhatian para calon pembaca.

Terlepas dari semua itu, kami mengucapkan banyak terima kasih kepada semua pihak yang mendukung. Terutama kepada para orangtua, guru, warga Desa Sukawening, tim pengurus Forum TBM Kabupaten Sumedang, dan juga khususnya kepada Bunda Literasi Kecamatan Ganeas, Ibu Eva Herman Suwandi, M.Pd atas tanggapan positif, dukungan, nasihat, dan sarannya kepada kami.

Adapun harapan dari ketua TBM Nyamaca yaitu, “Harapannya semoga program yang sudah berjalan terus berkembang juga yang sedang direncanakan bisa segera terlaksana. Salah satunya yaitu mengulas (review) hasil bacaan. Karena diharapakan mereka bukan hanya sekedar membaca tapi juga mengetahui pesan yang terkandung dalam buku yang dibaca. Lalu, semua lapisan masyarakat dapat ikut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan Nyamaca tidak hanya anggota yang aktif berkegiatan di Komunitas Nyaman saja. Karena pada dasarnya menuntun ilmu itu tidak ada batasnya, selagi ada kemauan. Berharap dengan adanya Komunitas Nyaman khusunya Nyamaca ini juga bisa memberikan dampak postif pada pertumbuhan di masa depan,” ucap Arini Seiawati, S.E.
