Memupuk Takwa di Bulan Ramadan

Ibadah shaum adalah ibadah yang memiliki keutamaan yang sangat tinggi. Seperti yang diingatkan Rasulullah saw. dalam hadisnya bahwa Allah Swt. berkata, “Semua amal anak Adam untuknya kecuali shaum. Ia untuk-Ku dan Aku yang akan membalasnya”. Betapa agungnya bulan Ramadan karena terdapat rahmat dan ampunan yang bisa kita petik jika kita dapat mengeksekusi bulan suci ini dengan sebenar-benarnya.

Yang menarik disini, dikatakan bahwa tujuan ibadah shaum sendiri adalah takwa. Takwa berasal dari bahasa arab yaitu waqa โ€“ yaqi โ€“ wiqayah yang artinya menjaga diri. Sedangkan arti yang sering kita dengar, takwa adalah menjalankan perintah-Nya dan menjauhi larangan-Nya. Jika kita melihat pengertian diatas seolah-olah ada makna bahwa kita bekerja untuk bekerja. Melaksanakan ibadah shaum untuk melaksanakan ketakwaan.

Setelah diamati, ada korelasi antara pelaksanaan shaum dan ketakwaan. Jika dengan melaksanakan perintah shaum kita akan menjadi orang bertakwa, maka takwa tersebut akan menjaga kita untuk meninggalkan larangan Allah Swt. (dalam hal ini makan, minum dan perbuatan yang akan membatalkan shaumnya). Benarlah kiranya bahwa semua ibadah bermuara pada takwa.

Untuk perihal dunia biasanya kita menetapkan tujuan pada hal yang dzahir. Namun, takwa selain bertindak sebagai kata kerja juga bertindak sebagai kata sifat yang dimana tidak bisa dilihat wujudnya. Tidak ada petunjuk dalam fisik bagaimana bentuk takwa, sehingga kita tidak bisa mengategorikan orang yang berhasil dalam shaumnya sehingga memperoleh tujuannya yaitu takwa.

Takwa adalah derajat yang paling tinggi dari tingkatan keimanan manusia. Seperti yang tertuang dalam hadis Bukhari, saat Rasulullah saw. ditanya oleh para sahabat, “Siapakah orang yang paling mulia?โ€, Rasulullah menjawab, โ€œYang paling mulia di sisi Allah adalah yang paling bertakwa di antara merekaโ€.

Seorang yang bertakwa hanya dapat dinilai oleh Allah Swt. namun dalam Al-Qur’an banyak sekali ayat yang memberikan informasi tentang ciri-ciri orang yang bertaqwa. Diantaranya, “beriman kepada yang ghaib, mendirikan shalat, menafkahkan sebahagian rezeki, beriman kepada Kitab (Al Quran) dan yakin akan adanya (kehidupan) akhirat. ” (Al-Baqarah 3-4).

Shaum adalah momentum untuk meningkatkan ketakwaan kita. Dengannya kita berharap menjadi orang yang mulia di sisi Allah Swt. Wallahu’alam bis Shawab
