Genjot Indeks Literasi Masyarakat: Sumedang Kembali Lahirkan Duta Baca

Sumedang, maracasumedang.com – sebanyak 24 peserta dari berbagai kecamatan di Kabupaten Sumedang mengikuti pemilihan Duta Baca yang digelar pada 27-28 Februari 2023 di Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Sumedang. Peserta yang hampir semua merupakan mahasiswa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi dalam maupun luar Sumedang mengikuti rangkaian acar pemilihan duta baca sejak pendaftaran, seleksi administrasi hingga puncak pemilihan.

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memilih seorang figur untuk menjalankan tugas utama sebagai duta baca yaitu sebagai motivator untuk meningkatkan minat baca masyarakat, serta sebagai pengungkit dan memperkuat kegiatan Perpustakaan Nasional dalam mengkampanyekan Gerakan Nasional Pembudayaan Kegemaran Membaca secara sinergis dan berkelanjutan diseluruh wilayah Indonesia dalam hal ini di Kabupaten Sumedang.

Dr. Dian Sukmara, M.Pd. mengungkapkan bahwa pemilihan Duta Baca di Kabupaten Sumedang dilakukan untuk menggenjot peningkatan Indeks Literasi Masyarakat. Saat ini indeks Literasi Sumedang terpaut di angka 12,5 tidak jauh dengan nasional dan berharap bisa meningkat hingga 12,65 di tahun ini.

Bunda Literasi Sumedang Hj. Susi Gantini, S.Si turut hadir dalam kegiatan pembukaan serta memberi pembekalan materi kepada seluruh peserta duta baca.

Setelah melalui berbagai tahapan seleksi duta baca akhirnya terpilih dengan urutan pemenang sebagai berikut,

  1. Rafly Muhammad Pasha asal Cimalaka sebagai peringkat 1
  2. Yunita Syahrani asal Sumedang Utara sebagai peringkat 2
  3. Meylani Anisa asal Tanjungsari sebagai peringkat 3
  4. Seftia Nursukmawati asal Sumedang Selatan sebagai harapan 1
  5. Dytia Dwiyanti asal Tanjungsari sebagai harapan 2
  6. Asep Zainal Abidin asal Tanjungsari sebagai harapan 3
Para pemenang Duta Baca Sumedang

Nama-nama tersebut keluar sebagai pemenang setelah berbagai tahapan penilaian dilakukan dengan cara seksama dan terbuka. Meski yang dimunculkan sebagai pemenang hanya enam orang Dinas Perpustakaan Daerah dan Arsip Kabupaten Sumedang tetap akan mengkolaborasikan seluruh peserta dalam kegiatan literasi di Kabupaten Sumedang.

  1. Alhamdulillah tahun ini Dinas arsip dan perpustakaan Kab Sumedang sukses menyelenggarakan pemilihan Duta Baca, ajang ini berhasil menjadikan kompetisi menggali potensi menjadi.kompetensi. Saya sangat bangga dan salut terhadap peserta yang merupakan pegiat literasi milineal dengan beragam kemampun yang mereka miliki.Saya pikir Sumedang pun pasti bangga dengan mereka. Harapan saya semoga pemerintah daerah melalui Disarpus ditahun.berikutnya mampu.menyelenggaran kembali ajang pemilihan duta baca ini lebih gebyar lagi.
