“Habit English Class” Cimalaka

Sumedang, persissumedang.id – Meskipun hari libur Dewi Kartika yang akrab dipanggil oleh anak-anak Rumpin Al-Barokah Teteh Dewii dan di sela-sela kesibukannya setelah mengajar sejak pagi saat dijumpai sedang mengikuti pengajian di mesjid Al-Barokah, bahkan pada malam tadi (21/1) mengikuti kegiatan yang sama.   

Saat ditanya tentang kesan pertama melakukan KKN di Desa Cibeureum Wetan. Dewi menuturkan,  Kesan pertama  kami pada Desa Cibeureum Wetan adalah memiliki masyarakat yang ramah, baik, dan kompak, serta selalu membantu kami sebagai Mahasiswa KKN dalam  melaksanakan program kerja kami. Ujarnya pula, Suasana Desa Cibeureum Wetan adalah asri, tertib, dan bersih. Hal ini membuat kami nyaman dan betah untuk tinggal di sini, sehingga kami dapat melaksanakan program kerja dengan baik.

Andil yang diberikan dalam menjalankan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi yang dilakukan para mahasiswa KKN Unsap Sumedang di Rumah Pintar begitu besar, ucap Mahdi

Mahdi sebagai Ketua Rumah Pintar Al-Barokah menjelaskan, terutama manfaatnya bagi para peserta didik setingkat SD yang berada di Desa Cibeureum Wetan umumnya dan khususnya warga masyarakat Dusun Batu Karut RT 01 RW 06 yang memiliki putra putrinya untuk belajar di Rumpin Al-Barokah.     

Para mahasiswa KKN Unsap tersebut melakukan bimbingan belajar bagi anak-anak Rumpin setiap hari Minggu dan Senin selama KKN mereka berngsung. Kegiatan tersebut dimotori oleh Dewi Kurniasih, salah seorang peserta KKN dari FKIP jurusan PGSD tingkat 4 atau semester 7 bersama rekan lainnya di antaranya Dewi Kartika dan Dasep Duwiana dari Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis jurusan Akuntansi

Sedangkan Sukma Ayu Dinda dan Moch Sugih dari jurusan Manajemen, Siti Annisa dari FISIP. Ada pun  Program yang mereka lakukan dalam membimbing para anak-anak di Rumah Pintar Al-Barokah adalah memberikan dan mengenalkan belajar berbahasa Inggris dengan baik dan benar serta pembiasaan berbahasa Inggris melalui “Habit English Class” ,tutur Dewi  Kartika

Walaupun baru seminggu bertemu dengan para anak-anak di Rumah Pintar Al-Barokah, namun Dewi mengaku mempunyai kesan selama kegiatan belajar mengajar di sana. Kesan pertamanya terhadap Rumpin, alhamdulillah kami merasa diajak kembali ke alam. Begitu pun, Kemajuan masyarakat dapat diraih dengan adanya kegiatan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan di Rumpin.

Dewi menambahkan bahwa, “Antusias anak anak yang amat sangat tertarik dengan adanya program program yang dilaksanakan di Rumpin, membuat kami merasa terajak kembali bersemangat dalam menjalankan program KKN”.

Selanjutnya Mahdi mengungkapkan bahwa, “diharapkan dengan adanya program ini para siswa di Rumpin, terbiasa dengan berbahasa Inggris atau setidaknya memiliki pengetahuan tambahan dari apa yang telah didapat dari sekolah formalnya. Selain itu pula untuk memotivasi kepada mereka untuk senantiasa belajar dan menuntut ilmu kapan dan di manapun berada”.

Semoga dengan adanya Program KKN dari Unsap ini, ke depannya ada timbal balik kedua belah pihak, pungkasnya.
